Regarding postponed gents fixtures.
On behalf of the league secretary, can I remind teams that all outstanding matches need to be played within one week of the end of season with scores to be submitted immediately. (i.e. no later than the evening of Wednesday 24th March.)
Any problems must be communicated to the secretary as soon as possible.
The email issue is still in effect, so contact can be made with Stewart on stewart_hamilton@hotmail.com
Hi All
The President of Scottish Squash (Ron Pearman), would like to invite
representatives of all West member clubs to a meeting at SSRC at 2pm on
Saturday 27 February to discuss affiliation to Scottish Squash.
Affiliation of all West clubs to Scottish Squash will be a proposition put
forward at the next West AGM, so this is a great opportunity to come along
and have a chat with Ron and other Scottish Squash board members. The
purpose of the visit is to listen to what the West members clubs want from
Scottish Squash, and to help find a mutually agreeable way forward which
will be of benefit to the West and squash across Scotland.

With the league fixtures nearing completion, we are approaching the time for our end of season bash. Previous years events have been most enjoyable with top grub, a band, and entertaining after-dinner speakers all featuring. Presentations to winning teams from this season will also be given by the president of West Squash, Henry Reid.
The venue for this year is David Lloyd Renfrew. The date is Saturday 24th April. We would encourage clubs to support this annual West Squash event. Anyone wishing tickets please contact a committee member. Hope to see you there!
The committee would like to remind all clubs that team fees must be settled in a reasonable time. Some teams are yet to settle fees for LAST season, namely Bowfield, Buchanan Drymen, Cameron House, Craighelen, David Lloyd Renfrew, Hillhead, and Largs. We would urge these teams to forward remittance as a matter of urgency. Please note, that teams with fees outstanding from 2008-09 will not be allowed entry to 2010/11.
I’ve just heard the very sad news that John Dale has passed away (he lost a long battle against cancer last Thursday at the very young age of 33).
For anyone who doesn’t know John, he was from the North East of England and used to come up to play West and National League in the 1990’s. He was a very nice bloke and a great player.
You can see more details about John here
