Knockout Cup 2014 – FINALE!

After some controversy and extremely tight matches in the semi finals, there was almost an all Giffnock Final! Giffnock edged out Western in a very tight match which was even on matches and games, with Giffnock winning due to the 4th String deciding match rule. In the other Semi-Final, SSRC looked down and out until some controversy awarded them a place in the semi final. The updated draw can be downloaded below.

The knockout cup 2014 final will be held at Whitecraigs LTC on Monday 22nd September with a 6:30 PM start. Feel free to come along and watch/ support (if you’re not playing)!! 

The new rules of the knockout cup are designed to give every team an equal opportunity to win. Each team has a 10,000 point cap on their team make-up from the Resultszone League Rankings, blowing the tournament wide open – Do you load the top half or go for an even balance in your team!!

Please remember that days are flexible and can be re-arranged at the agreement of both teams, but should be played within 5 days of the original fixture. Team captains should be contacted to confirm the match is going ahead as scheduled.
