Match start times reminder / club contact info

All,

It has been noted that some matches throughout the season are starting late due to insufficient numbers of visiting players arriving at the home club on time.

Particularly in cases where one tie is being played on a single court, this can lead to extremely late finishes which is an annoyance to most of us.

Can visiting teams please ensure that they arrive as close to 645pm as possible – the official start time of matches as stated in the rules.
Home teams should endeavour to have their players ready at this time.
If this is not going to be possible due to distance travelled, visiting teams should contact the home team captain via the contact details on the main website to discuss.

While on the subject, it would be appreciated if club captains can check that their contact details are up to date, and that as many contacts as is appropriate are listed on their club’s page. If this is not the case, please advise new details via contact info on “committee” page on this website.
