November Team BigShots - Last chance! - Squash Clubs in Glasgow

There are still places left in the West BigShots Junior Team Competition is being held at Scotstoun Sports Campus on Sunday 3rd November! The event will take place from 10:00 AM until approx 1:00 PM.

The new competition aims to prepare West juniors for moving up into the full West of Scotland open league, and also to play in the Junior Inter regional competition. If successful, it may league to the formation of a West League for Junior Teams!

Junior Team Format

All players will be formed into mixed- teams of three or four players depending on the size of the entry. The teams will mix players from different clubs, to keep teams of equal strength. Players will be split into teams based on their position in the West Junior Order of Merit, trying to keep each team of a similar strength. Depending on the number of entries we may run a knockout competition or a small league format. Each match will be played best of three games.

Marking

Players will be asked to score and referee matches, but we will try and get adults to assist, so any volunteers are more than welcome to come down and help West Junior Squash! The winning team will each receive a winners medal, and all players will receive a ranking on the West Junior Order of Merit.
