Wednesday 19th May – The World No.1 Ramy Ashour is safely through to the semi-finals of the $150k Sky Open in Cairo, but he now faces a real tough challenge in James Willstrop, who beat him in the final of the New York Tournament of champions in January.

Ramy will be looking to overturn this result in his home town and move past James in the PSA Super Series Ranking tomorrow night; and equally James will be looking to prove that he can make it to the top of the World Rankings. Should be a cracker!

But before that happens the bottom half of the draw sees quarter-finals matches tonight. An all British clash between Peter Barker (No.#8) and Adrian Grant (No.#13) looks to be the most tightly fought match, but 14th seed Alister Walker will be hoping to upset the rankings and beat Frenchman Thierry Lincou (No.#7) in their quarter-final. And finally the former world No.#1 Amr Shabana will take on fellow Egyptian Wael el Hindi in a No.#3 v No.#12 home town clash which will be a real crowd pleaser!
