Broomhill’s Tracey Rodger sadly passed away peacefully in her home on Sat 30th April.

Much loved daughter of Iain and Christine Rodger and sister to Martin Rodger, she was an exceptional veterinary surgeon with the SSPCA. She was one of our most keen team squash/tennis players and Club Secretary at Broomhill Lawn Tennis and Squash Club. She was a respected and universally loved former pupil and 1992 Dux of Jordanhill School in Glasgow; Alumna of Edinburgh University’s Royal School of Veterinary Medicine, she always excelled academically. She gave her time generously to neighbours, family, friends alike and always went the extra mile.

She also went far beyond the normal dedication of a club member at Broomhill LT&SC volunteering for many tasks and events on top of her normal duties as a busy committee member. She had a great love of world travel and food as well as being a fantastic chef herself. She would excel in whatever she turned her hand to.

Her sudden passing has left a huge gap in so many people’s lives and she will be painfully missed by all at Broomhill and the West.
